Subject: Re: 303 clones
i totally get why ppl would want a 303 its definitely tons of fun to mess with and a great live improvisation instrument but wouldn't it be cooler to have one with say an extra oscillator and sub osc you could optionally turn on, and more filter options already built in, maybe even optional polyphony, especially for the price?

I've got the TB3 and it's a reasonably priced fun little box. Doesn't stand up to the original nor the xoxbox I'm sure.
I do know there's another one coming out soon but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to talk about it yet. :)

cant say about xoxbox but a modular is a completely different story. in a modular, there are no limits to what you can achieve, unfortunately most cool models are expensive.

I have the xoxbox and love it. It's been solid for live gigs and home recording. Haven't tried the others though, so can't offer any real perspective.

Thinking about 303 clones, xoxbox seems like the best route to go on my budget ($500 ish) especially with willzyx selling fully built new ones for $420. Just curious if it would be wiser to save more and go with eurorack stuff, like the boomstar filter, acidlab bassline, of dinsync modules? Looking to hear your opinions :)
